But in real networks scenario, nodes are independent.<br \/>\nIn this study, the research team succeeded in overcoming the challenge of indistinguishability of independent photons by using precise time synchronization and frequency stabilization mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\u2699\ufe0f Test details<br \/>\nHong-Ou-Mandel Interference (Hong-Ou-Mandel Interference): The key to the success of this experiment was achieving high-resolution interference between independent photons at the Bell Mode Measurement (BSM) station.<br \/>\nFidelity: The quantum state was transmitted with high fidelity from the sender (Alice) to the receiver (Bob) who had an independent optical source.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd2c Research importance<br \/>\nThis achievement is a necessary step for building quantum repeaters.
